Realistic White Hart Lane 1970s Goals

Our White Hart Lane is based on the stadium from the 1990s and early 2000’s before it was demolished to build the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But this does not prevent us from collecting different items that may represent its rich history as the home of Tottenham Hotspur. This was never more true than when we stumbled across some realistic looking Subbuteo goals based on the 1970s ones.

With a ‘buy it now’ feature, we had to decide there and then whether to add these goals to our collection, otherwise someone else may have snapped them up. In just a few seconds, the purchase button was pressed and the goal posts were ours.

As you can see from the photos, these custom made goals are an excellent representation of the real posts. They look exactly like the ones in the photo from White Hart Lane.

In comparing them with the modern day goals, they are smaller and the net is not fastened all the way around, so will require a little bit of work. Despite this, they do look fantastic on our Subbuteo pitch and will make a nice change to the modern goals.

It will make it an easy switch to change our stadium from the 1990s to the 1970s, without too much effort, so overall we are very happy with this unique item.
